Did anyone cheat death in final destination?

In the Final Destination series, death is often cheated, but never for long. The first film in the franchise saw high school student Alex Browning (Devon Sawa) cheat death when he had a premonition about a plane crash and was able to get off the plane before it took off. He, along with a group of other passengers, was then stalked by Death, who wanted to claim their lives. In the second film, college student Clear Rivers (Ali Larter) also cheated death when she was supposed to die in a bus accident. She was able to get off the bus before it crashed, but death continued to stalk her and the other survivors. The third film saw a group of people cheat death when they were supposed to die in a race car accident. They were able to get out of the car before it crashed, but death soon came for them. The fourth film had the most people cheating death, as a group of high school students cheated death when their prom exploded. They were able to get out of the building before it exploded, but death soon came for them. The fifth film saw a group of people cheat death when they were supposed to die in a bridge collapse. They were able to get off the bridge before it collapsed, but death soon came for them. The sixth film had the main character, Nick O'Bannon (Bobby Campo), cheat death when he had a premonition about a race car accident. He was able to get out of the car before it crashed, but death soon came for him and the other survivors. So, while people may be able to cheat death in the Final Destination series, it is only for a short period of time. Death always catches up to them in the end.
