Did the minotaur have any powers?

In Greek mythology, the minotaur was a creature with the head of a bull and the body of a man. It lived in the labyrinth, a maze-like structure built by the architect Daedalus for the king Minos of Crete. The labyrinth was so complex that anyone who entered it would become lost. Minos had Daedalus build the labyrinth to contain the minotaur, which was the result of his wife's affair with a bull. The minotaur was killed by the hero Theseus, who entered the labyrinth with the help of Minos's daughter Ariadne. Theseus killed the minotaur with a sword and then escaped the labyrinth. The minotaur was not generally considered to have any powers, although it was a fearsome creature. It is possible that the labyrinth itself was seen as a power of the minotaur, as it was able to contain anyone who entered it.
